The new 2003 C-coupe is already in mbusa.com, they just finished working on the site.

 

They're only 12 days late. It was supposed to be done on the 19th.

was wondering how much gas the 2003 would save compared to 2002

 

whats the difference between the factory installed changer and the glovebox mounted one? (aside from $375)

Looks like they are still not communicating the C7 package completely. Still no comment on the modified Exhaust and Short Shift in the build your own area.

 

did the 2002 have "pewter silver" as a color option? i would've bought that in an instant

 

they do mention it in the broucher though on page 35.

I think that edvpt was referring to the deletion of the resonator in the exhaust.

It is a new color. Looks like tectite gray has been deleted.

 

I was just configuring a C320 and it looks like Teleaid is now an option as opposed to being included in the sedans.

 

i see. i wanted to order my coupe in tectite grey but it wasn't available on the 2002 C230. i also wish they offered a color similar to bmw's blue/grey color.

 

Several changes:

C4 is now Xenon lights and headlight washers, was washers and heated seats
heated seats are availavble as a separate option
burl wood and sheepskins are available as accessories
engine is rated at 189hp
weight is down a bit
most option and metallic paint prices are a little higher
delivery charge is higher
CD is only less if ordered from the factory
looks like seats are better bolstered/larger head rests

still no AMG or AWD options(sigh)

and...am I dreaming or did they change the cloth pattern, making the checks more subtle?

 

did anyone notice this picture in the photo gallery it shows a C coupe with out the C7 package but it has the color matched door handles. And it clearly says under

Exterior Features

Black door handles. Neutral-tinted glass. Chrome exhaust tip.


So i dont undersatnd how this picture has a coupe with out C7 but has the color matched door handles. Can someone explain this?

Not competely true. The C240 has infact a 2.6 liter engine.... Same with the E240 (wich I don't think is offered in US)

I am picking my car up on Friday, I asked about the Xeon lights, c4, yeasterday and my dealer checked his computer. there are currently NO cars with this option and c5, c7, manual any color in the united states, there are no cars comming as of yesterday at 6pm from overseas with theses options installed so it looks like xeon lights will either be comming out on models later in the year or special order only.

 

Very true, how about the old 190E which came in 2.3 and 2.6l versions. They actually put the 2.3 and 2.6 badge on separately.

 

Actually the numbers actually matching is a relatively recent phenomenon - a lot of the older cars simply had a letter number combination with an addtional number pointing out the displacement (as c240x pointed out with the 190E).
