Hi guys,

I tried the search feature to check on the compatibility of other Mercedes rims for a C230 Coupe but I can't seem to find what I was looking for and need your help.

Question (1): Will SL500 18" Sport Rims with the J spacing fit on a Coupe? I like the design of the rim but have no idea if its compatible. The size of it is 18x8.5J and 18x9.5J but what does the J-space do to the rim?

Question (2): Will the 17" Sport Rims from a 2005 C230 Kompressor Sedan fit on a 2002 C230 Sports Coupe? The reason why I ask is because some guys at the dealership told me its possible but they were unsure. Any help?
Factory Wheel Size: ( Front: 225x45rx17; 17x7.5 Rear: 245x40rx17; 17x8.5 )

Can anyone confirm this?

I do believe all the W203 rims are interchangable.

Thanks Justinius, I understood that all 2001-2004 would fit and interchangable but I was told differently that 2005-2006 C230 wheels wouldn't fit on 2001-2004.

Does anyone know about SL500 rims with the J-spacing being interchangable with any w203 C230?

Not sure about 1 but the 2005 C230 Sport Sedan rimms should fit the 2002 Coupe. Problems between the w203 wheels occurs when you try to put a 16" wheel on the 2004.5+ Sport Sedans because they have larger 13.6" rotors and larger calipers. Even some 17" and larger wheels have clearance issues with the front calipers. 2004.5+ Sport Sedan wheels will fit any w203

Speaking about wheels and rims What are some good brands? and anyone know how I can get some good AMG rims for the c230 in the so cal area?

It would be nice If you could post some wheels and rims websites that have rims for the 06 c230 thanks.

isnt the only thing you gotta worry about is the offset? as long as its 35mm?

i got my rims off the group-buy, havent put them on yet, but im sure it'll fit. go coupes!

No, there's also bolt pattern and I think bolt length. This has been dicscussed in other threads before so I can't quite remember. Maybe other members with more experience will provide answers or you can just search for the older threads.
