I just test fit my wheels on my C203, anyways the rear has a clicking noise is the lugs too long?

if it's coming from the rear, it sounds like the lugs are rubbing against the e-brake... be careful or else you may damage the e-brake.

Ok, what size are you all using?

I just drive it in and out of the drive way, so I think it's still okay

Thanks

I got the same problem last time with my brabus rims, offset was 35 and it was 18 inch. Used it for almost 3 months, no problem with my ebrake, but dont risk it. Just buy shorter lugs and it will be fine.

just go with the shortest bolts possible that still allows you to have 4-5 turns.

BTW, shouldn't it be 6-7 turns? That's what I hear.

6-7 turns? I am not sure, but if it hits then I think I will just have to torque the shorter ones more

Thanks

I just order some 23mm bolts, they are the shortest I found. I got the wheels off but once I put them back on I will have pictures

Thanks

This is a common problem when trading for aftermarket wheels. Shorter lugs will take care of the problem. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way. I'm glad that you've gotten this taken care of.

My shop wouldn't give me the car unless they could get 6 turns. Be careful.

Did you change everything or just the rear? So this is the correct size right 12x1.5 23mm? Also how many turns? Thanks
