Goodstuff, from where are you ordering the grill? I've seen it advertised at Autoclass.net and Oberklasse.com. One had it for just $249.

I have the flat hood emblem (OberKlasse has them for just $25), and am thinking hard about the grill. I like the looks of the plain grill with flat emblem... kinda stealthy. While the grill is kinda "out-there" (less stealthy). I like it... just can't decide.

I don't know Lynn, I think it's more fun to hear MB-BOB pipe up every time that someone brings up an aftermarket grill. I don't know how he leaves the house in the morning, if he can't make a decision about something as simple as a grill. I mean, just getting dressed alone must take an hour or so. :p

Yes, I want to buy a Coupe, after (In ascending order of expense):

... I buy a new computer for the daughter so she can go to university in the fall...

... I buy said daughter some new wheels so she can go to said university in the fall...

... I make the first installment on said daughter's tuition to said university...

... I start a second 401k plan at the new job to help recover the 21% loss this year from my existing post-retirement IRA from the first job...

You get older, but it doesn't get any easier... Besides, will you youngsters welcome me to the Coupe crew at age 54? (Don't answer that, really)

A kid? Me? You have forgotten that I am a year younger than you. Some people say that the memory starts to go in early middle age. I say that is BS, we are experiencing buffer overflow!!

Lynn, I know you and I are "peas in a pod," but we appear to be the exception on this Coupe demographic thing. I was referring to those pre-midlife crisis tommys out there. Besides, I bought my C320 this year to make sure I wasn't denied later due to the aforementioned priorities. I would like to be a two-car Mercedes family, but by the time I get to buy my Coupe, you'll likely be on your second one... :o

But I do subscribe to your overloaded buffer theory! Rock On!

Boy, did we hijack Goodstuff's post this time, or what?

yeah Lynn I already ordered the sports grille for my car, and got it only for $220.00 USD.

It's a Christmas gift for my car

MB-BOB:
Yeah I saw the flat emblem as well, I will get it too, it looks good.
I think I will either get the Carlsson bodykit or the Brabus one.

Did you guy mod your car? if yes, can you post some pic?

take care,

goodstuff
