C230K Donuts in the Snow
I'm about to go up to Tahoe this weekend, but have been debating whether to bring my car up the mountain or rent a car
...What should I do to prepare my car for the snow
? Or is there anyone who strongly advise me not to do so?
Thanks for the response in advance ^_^.

The roads will be fine.....don't worry. Of course don't take er out in a snow storm up in the mountains, but otherwise you'll be fine.
The equipment they use to make sure tourists make it to the resorts would blow your mind.

Leave the car at home. In anything more than a few inches deep, its gonna be a nightmare...especially without winter tires. Besides, the chips in the paint from the salt, sand and other road debris kicked up isn't worth it.
Had a hell of winter storm here today, white out conditions, thundersnow, freezing rain, and 10 inches of wet slop.

So my decision is have my friend drive his front-wheel drive maxima (vs a lowered rear-wheel drive coupe
) as we are all under 25, renting an SUV will cripple us for the rest of the month
Thanks guys for the advises
