2003 C320 Sports Coupe
Is there a decent Mercedes service department in Houston, Texas?
Hi. Recently, my wife and I bought a 2003 C320 Sports Coupe. It's a great car, though obviously it's not perfect. We are looking for a Mercedes service department in the Houston, TX area that we can count on for good repair work. We recently had the coupe in the service department at Greenway Mercedes to repair the sunshades on the Panorama roof. A little over a week later, the shades are not functioning properly again and I'm starting to hear more of a scaping noise when I try to open the roof. We appreciate any advice that you can offer.

I take mine to Star Motor Cars. They have the MB dealership on Old Katy Road inside the loop just minutes from downtown. They also have the Aston Martin Dealership next door as well. They do a great and honest job. I use to take my other mercedes to Greenway, but I was never happy with their work or the quality of it.

"I just got my car back from servicing at North today. I made an
appointment two weeks ago to replace a fog light that had moisture in it and
fix the balky armrest cover. I took the car in at 7:30 AM Thursday.
At 2:00 PM they called and said that the armrest was fixed but they
would have to order the foglamp.
Why do they bother asking what
work needs to be done if they won't even take the time to make sure to
have the parts that you need?
And to top it off they left my car
in the rain and returned it to me dirty. Even the MINI dealers will
wash your car! What's up with that. I'll try Star next time. They are
five minutes from the house. The only reason I went to North was that
was where I had bought the car. Will Star give you a loaner if you did
not buy there?"
Star motors will give you between $30-$35/day allowance at Enterprise Rent-a-car that is located on site. Enterprise then gives you the option of up grading your car $45 for an SUV, and I believe $55 for a MB. Star has always been good to me, I bought my car used from a private owner. When I was thinking of buying the car I had the service advisor give it to one of their mechanics to take a look at it at no cost.

all are bad
i have a c320 2002 sedan and i am getting the usual click noise from the flap actuators and the dealer charge labor 1000 min and C320 has 10 motors, they recomdn changing all of them.
try other experts in german cars they know better than the dealer.
C320 i tell bad bad choice. as soon as i fix mine i am selling it. it was a mistake.

I use Alex Rodriguez in Clearlake, they brought a loaner to my house and took my car and fixed it and returned it to my house, I wasn`t inconvenienced at all. The service was great!! oh I almost forgot they brought me an R class for a loaner awesome.
