I do collect stats on purchases, but while I ask folks what car they drive, not everyone volunteers the information. Also, I ask for MBWorld screen names, too. But not everyone is a member. Some guests to the site request WHITE STAR Flat Badges, and I also have placed some with members at other MB enthusiast sites. Not sure I can say which sites.

I have found the solution to my ugly problem.
I sent you an email DFWDude. There are others asking the same question. I will copy and paste this link to show them the way.

Some of you guys with recently acquired WHITE STARS need to post some pictures. I can't continue to bump this thread forever.

Appreciate the compliments, but the credit goes to DFWDude for making such a quality product. I only wish I had another Benz that way I can order a second emblem

Of the 196 sold to date, however, I have received two comments from those who feel the white star insert has started to discolor. I would like to think such comments are related to environmental conditions beyond my control -- or a need to clean the star, as your pictures indicate a well maintained star will retain its brilliance for years. However, when 1% complain that's still too much for me.
So, effective with all new WHITE STAR Flat Badges produced (N191 and forward) I have applied a triple layer of Clear Coat to the WHITE STAR Insert to guard against any weathering effects.
Not a guaranteed modification, of course, but I always want to improve this product wherever possible.

I'm glad N003 has held up well after so long a time. Obviously you keep it well maintained.
