If that is a molded plastic grill, the mold by itself could cost over $20,000 easy! Then you have to add the cost to manufacture it. How many would you have to sell to make your money back??? For a low quantity run of a part like this, the price is not out of line by the time you figure in all the costs to produce it.

I personally would like it better if it did not have the frame around the outside like the CL grills..........but that's just me.

I went to search for EZ-tuning on google and it'll take you to their site. They're based in Taiwan with a list price of $22,000 NT on their site.

I thought these were Mattig grille as well because it has been posted previously, but different pic.

Seems like EZ-tuning is the large importer in Taiwan for Expression and Mattig. They just call it their own. OR they are the manufacturer for these grille and export them to Mattig and Mattig just under sell them. There are lots of possibilities, but they seem to be the same grille.

If anyone can figure out how much would shipping be from Mattig it would be great. 89 EURO is around $112 USD. Not a bad price.

I understand about manufacturing costs but at $650.00 it's way too expensive (IMHO). Also, if they bought a $20,000.00 machine, more than likely they will be producing these in mass, alowing for lower costs of material = better pricing. There's two ways of making money....One being charging a lot for a part and having a VERY few customers or selling a bit cheaper and having a bigger volume of customers (more than likely will come back and buy again). My point here is that there's way many other grills (in my opinion) that look better (and BY FAR like the CL grill) than this one and are way cheaper too.

Now...At $120.00, it's not a bad price a all. Actually sounds very cheap.
