how much more brakes?

how much more brakes?

does anyone know how many % on the pads are left when the "brake wear visit workshop" message come up on the MFD? i wont have time to take it in till tuesday, but i needa go to places this weekend. i should be fine right? i know Mercedes always warn you ahead of time.

i know it would be differ on the driving stylle, but ill try to avoid hard braking... and holding brakes, (uses lower gears to slow down)

i drove 1 1/2 week with the message on.. pad had 1% left. *yIKEs* probably compared to the thickness of a cd.

Im sorry but i don't have the answer...but i am wondering how much mileage do you have on your car? mine is a 05 too and I haven't got it yet...wondering if I will get it soon?

Replacing Brake pad at 21k miles?! Do you take your car to autocross or something?

I currently have 40K miles on the car, should I be thinking about changing pads and rotor?

You should be able to get through the long weekend fine. There is about 5%
remaining when the light comes on.

Do you guys know where the best place to buy oem pad replacements is? Ive looked all over, seems alot of peeps use the porterfield low dust pads from formymercedes.com... anyone have a good experience w/ a specific store or place online?
