2004 C-230 Kompressor coupe

c230 2004 Coupe FIREWALL HOLE

I Need to get a hole through the firewall to get to my battery i want to install subs and maybe a cb radio... If people could tell me different ways to get through the firewall or if i have to drill a hole THANK YOU

maybe i did and i couldnt find it so if you could get off your high horse and just throw some personal knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Is that a typo in your first post; cb radio?

Did you mean cd radio?

If you tell us what search words you used we might be able to help you narrow it down.

Come on... it's so much easier just to say STFF!

Anyway, there's a spot below and behind the battery. You can find it by looking under the dash on the passenger side... near the outside corner. For pics.. they've got to be around somewhere.

I'll jump in on this since I just dealt with it. I did a search and found the first and second pic on a coupe. The third one is my car on the driver's side.

2005 C240, 2006 ML 350 AMG

Hi. I found this firewall access passage discussed above.. However, there seems to be a black rubber stopper that will not come out, blocking the only unused hole. A wire will feed approximately 1 inch in then hits backing... Is this an actual plug/blockage that must be removed or a just a tight fit? THANKS BIG!
