Unhappy MBenzNL MIA?

Has anyone heard from Steve or Wanda in the past 2 weeks?
I can’t seem to get a hold of them and it's worrying me.

I am border line pissed off actually and I am no longer giving them the benefit of the doubt. I will spare you the story for now.

If anyone has heard from them or know where they are please let me know.

wanda emailed me today i think their email and internet service is giving problems i think its pass the due date for the Deposit thats was required .. so i guess u can still keep trying to contact them.

Why are you borderline pissed off? Did you pay for something already or are you gonna be going to an install day while Steve is in the East Coast and just trying to confirm an order with a deposit?

hey drex,

trust me, i have my reasons but i rather not bring it to the boards. this is my last attempt to get a hold of them and i much rather not go into details here b/c they're great ppl and this is just bad luck but getting back to my temper > i left fro europe over 2 weeks ago and prior to that i waited on them for 2 weeks, it turned out they were on vacation and couldnt get online. fair enough. they then told me they would email me soon (so i'm thinking a few dyas max), i checked my email daily while i was away on vacation - which wasnt fun but thats another story for another day. so, close to 3 weeks later not one email. either they're too busy or they have forgotten about me.

they have my desposit and i have one order on hold from them but that is all i will spill.

Fair enough. I just can't see any reason for anybody to get upset with how they conduct business unless there was some mis-communication. In this case, none of us know what has made you that upset, so as a supporter of their business, all I can offer is just the comfort of knowing that one way or another, they will resolve whatever it is that has made you upset (as far as the business transaction is concerned).

Other than that, I hope everything works out. As Sunman had indicated, Steve is on his way to th US, so if you do have an install date scheduled, you can hopefully work it out with him when he is in the East Coast.

it sounds like u r waiting for install date. i think none of us got confirmed dates yet (maybe except for steve's 1st destination city). if u have dealt with steve b4, this is how it goes. install dates are not confirmed weeks and weeks b4 his trip to US. don't forget it's june/july trip, meaning ur install date can be late june or sometime in july (depending on steve's schedule). i know u (and everyone else who's gettin' something installed) is eager to get it installed & can't wait, but u gotta be patient and just wait for steve/wanda to email u with DA DATE.

..............this thread illustrates what has been my point all along. It is like Moses coming to the Promised Land. Steve is a great guy, but......cmon! He may want to franchise out his business to key locations around the country that have a phone number that customers can actually call and reach someone. I used to deal with Dean before, again great guy, but same problem. You'll never know whats up. You just waited on pins and niddles and if you were lucky enough, you got a response. Great people but they have become a bit too pupular for the business model they have adopted.

nope, not waiting on an install. i wished he would come to canada. again, i am NOT bashing them. they're great ppl. i'm just a little confused why they havent replied to me when they clearly said they would. i just want to finalize my deal with them. i really just want ppl to keep to their word. esp. when it comes to business.

anyway, thanks for all your replies. but i am more confused now since wanda has been emailing ppl BUT me.

If that's the case, from what it sounds like, majority of their focus must be on the people who are involved with installs in the East Coast. I'm sure they will get back to you, but you'll just have to be a little patient since they are in the middle of setting up everybody for the install trip.

As big in popularity as they've grown for installs, I see what Ted is talking about in terms of servicing people. It's getting more and more difficult for them to get back to people ASAP (especially with the time difference from Europe to the States).

Yeah, I totally understand your frustration, but either way it's not gonna make the reply come any faster by letting it get to you that much. From what it sounds like, you're just anxious to complete your order. The problem seems to mainly be the timing of all of it. You ordered something at the same time that they were trying to plan the install trip and all.

Yes, one month is patient, but patient enough?...well, considering their reputation, the fact that they're good people and the fact that you ordered around the same time that the install trip was scheduled...I think they deserve all the patience in the world from their customers.

One way or another, you'll get your product. Like I said, I think you just placed an order in bad timing (install trips have to be #1 priority on their list because they have to make sure they get all of those people covered that require installation, since it's not exactly like Steve can just go back the next day).

i sent wanda an email yesterday morning asking when steve would be stateside and she replied hours later notifiying me that steve will begin to schedule the CA appoinments soon.

it's not really an order. i want my deposit back from the defective head lamp i sent back to them. i had to give a deposit b/c i needed a replacment and wont send it w/o the money. they have had their lamp back for nearly 2 months now. go figure....

Relax on the Email, its not working so well for me either. I was in Malaysia last week, and thought I was on AOL! The real skinny is that certain big money players want to turn the internet from a Freeway to a turnpike, and charge by the bit. They are using ISP blocking (like all of Shaw Canada) to trim spam. If a spammer used your ISP or their provider, you might have been blocked.

I saw Steve bending over backwards so far his nose was on the ground behind him helping you with a fingerprint on a headlight. That should have let you know he cares about his clients. Be patient.

I see. That's a different story. I've never had to return anything to them before, so don't know 'bout their return policies.

Well, hopefully you'll hear from them soon or they'll work it out with you. Sorry to hear about that.

but i think most of you are missing my point. i was told i was to be contacted shortly and wasnt and that worries me.

it's just my bad luck i know. but the fact of the matter is they have been emailing some ppl and i would think i am just as important. i mean a simple we will get back to you, anything! as soon as i got back online (monday) i sent them another email. either they didnt see it (i doubt that if they replied to someone hrs after they got his) or its in their spam (i doubt this too b.c i have emailed them from the same box and same addy before). i will try and give them a call tomorrow if they have a phone number.

nope, it was a money order and i have no doubt they will pay me back. i'm concern b/c they have forgotten me for whatever reason. i'm sure they have had nighmares about our troubled transactions so they couldnt have! LOL
