Gents,
I had my latest mod done today at MBM wheelpower. Guess what ? The Kleemann M271 performance header is here and the lovely thing is RHD. Holy Cow, I have been waiting this for ages and is here finally. MBM has imported these headers from Kleemann and is fresh out from the oven. Cannot wait any longer.
Here are some screenshots of the header, the header comes complete with the huge high flow metallic cats with the downpipes.
The fellows from MBM did a great job on the installation of the headers. Man, the drive and the pull is awesome , the car pulls without any hesitation, back pressure is eliminated for sure. Besides, when the car surge forward at high rev, I felt the "G" and my seat belt is locked... The car doesn't behave as if it is supercharge, it pulls like a turbocharge vehicle.
I am very satisfied, one of the best mods I have I must say. Go try it out and you know what I mean !
MBM, two thumbs up for you ! Casper from Kleemann Denmark, if you are reading this thread, you guys are top-notched !

SLKfans, saw in a Feb thread that you were (at that time) very happy about the mgheaders... why the switch to a Kleemann?

There wasn't any flaws on the mgheaders I had before....Only if the headers (4-1) from mgheaders is coupled with the high flow cats and the downpipe will be a perfect match. This leads me into getting a Kleemann kit instead.
I could have just purchased a high flow cat from elsewhere but customizing a downpipe with the cats is a pain in the butt especially for RHD vehicle where the steering is an obstruction, therefore precise measurements and mandrel bend will be involved in this project.....

Hi pugguy2001,
I don't feel any different at the low end. I have the same header as slkfans. No custom ECU upgrade only the Kbox and pully kit.
The Kleemann header is generating lots more heat than stock cause I notice the insulator under the hood kind of shrank because of the heat.

There is just nothing but room in that engine bay. I too want to install a header. Mine is likely to be a SuperSprint. Did you guys do the install yourself, or did you pay to have it done. What was the cost? Did you have to do any unplugging of the battery to get the ECU to relearn?
PG, did you say you have a RHD car? In NY?
