C320 2004.5 SPORT How to replace brake front pads and rotor -- anybody?
Has anybody replaced their 2004.5 SPORT front brake pads and/or rotor? Which pads did you buy and where? Are there any DIY instructions on the web to do this? Thanks for your help.

makes your daughter horny
I have a 2004.5 C230 Im assuming we have the same brake/rotor combo (the one off the C32).
As far as rotors go I dont think there are aftermarket options - at least I was not able to find any. I bought the OEM rotors from the dealer.
For pads I went with the porterfield (sp?) RS4 pads. I absolutely love them. Great brake feel and very little dust. Now my front wheels dust LESS than the OEM pads on the rear.
As far as a DIY goes I'm not sure, see if you can find one for the C32 AMG since our cars share the same front brake calipers.

Fronts are easy to install
WCole,
Its been 2 weeks now that I've installed the porterfields pads. Driven them 1K miles and there is indeed very little dust from them. I ordered the rears and its due to arrive soon. I also bought the OEM front rotors but will install them next time the front pads wear out.
Thanks for the info you gave. The front pad installation procedure is quite simple. I will have to figure out the rears.
