Coupe Headlights

Does the 2005 halogen headlights for the Coupe fit the 2003 Coupe? Are all the electricals the same so it's just plug and play? Also is there anyone that could give me a better deal than the dealership? TIA

Better yet, has anyone replaced their factory halogen housings with 05 Bi-X on their 02-04 Coupe and came across any fitment issues? I mean if the Bi-xenon's bolt onto the frame the same way as the halogens and are interchangable between any year of the Coupe, then the halogens should be interchangable as well correct?

Please any input what-so-ever would be greatly appreciated!!

Couldn't find anything regarding the 2005 halogen headlights for the Coupe, everyone is into the BiX instead

the 2005 clear headlights require minor modification, not direct fitment.

I suggest you pray for aftermarket DEPO headlights as thats what I have been doing for 2 years

Nah, not very excited about "aftermarket"...
Would you know exactly what needs to be modified?

that I am not sure, When I wanted new clear headlights, i asked the dealer for pricing and fitment, and that is what they have told me.

but again, 05 clears are really not much of a difference in look to the frosty ones like 10 ft away. I'd wait if theres such thing as aftermarket coupe depo (if bi-x is overpriced for you)

Intersting... my dealer won't sell me the new headlights because they do not know if it will fit. Could someone maybe ask their dealer about this whenever any of you guys need to go down there anyways?

my bro was able to mount the Bi-xenon of 03 with his 05, more likely you'll have no problem with that

I put Bix lights in my 02 Coupe a few years back... Its easy, and probably the coolest looking mod you can do, save the AMG front and rear pieces.

Don't wast 500 on the clear lights. Spend a little extra and get the Bix, its worth it.

Where did you find bix headlights to put on your coupe, I've been looking all over the net, and I can only find bix's for the sedans, but not my coupe.

a member recently was selling bi-x for the coupes, for 900+shipping, I couldnt spit up the cash. but it was worth the price.

I'm just hoping that aftermarket can come out with "bi-x" look-alikes for the coupes, mainly because i cant manage to spit up 1k for a set of headlights lol

Alright, perfect fitment or not, I already put the order in for the 2005 halogen Coupe headlights. The rest of the car should be finished by the first week of September. Lets keep our fingers crossed all goes well.

I tried my luck on some aftermarket dealers in CA and found projector headlights that even features a set complete of nice looking headlight covers and lenses, and integrated in a projector assembly enclosed in a stylish design.

I really don't think they will ever come up with the projectors for the coupe. I'm in for the mass email However, I really would like to know what in the world are the differences between those two. Can we mod them? I know "people" think is "unsafe" but heh... who cares anyways... I wouldn't mind if I have to break my wire hangers or get a roll of duck tape ... can some one explain the major differences and if it's possible to mod them?
