Part of the reason I bought a Coupe...

First, believe it or not, I like the look of the coupe better...second, could the sedan do this?

Pic of the car:

Now what I had to load (250+ yard signs for a campaign):

That's not all of them, that's about 2/3rd load. Even with fold down seats, there is no way a sedan could have done that. Funny thing is, I've taken stuff like this half a dozen times since getting the car. I love how big that trunk is with the seats down...you can even sleep in it.

Oh, don't read too much into the signs, I'm not a supporter of the candidate, just helping out.

C 230K Coupé
Seriously, hatchbacks > sedans when it comes to practicality. I miss my coupe so much just because I was able to fit my surfboard in there. Now I have to borrow dad's Lexus if I want to go to the beach.
I remember one time I had one shortboard, two longboards, a boogie board and 2 friends in the car. Now it definitelly wasn't comfortable (for the guy in the back at least) but my was I impressed by how much I could fit!

Sorry but just wondering if you have more pics of the headlights you currently have on your car?

Actually i bet you can fit all that in a sedan if not more if u stuff the trunk and back seat. But if you like utility there is always the wagon!

Haha, seriously. I put six 90lb bags of quickcrete into my trunk. Added another 2 inch drop with the KW coilovers, and my car was almost slammed.

Lol, I'd take that bet...I brought them to the office and the candidate tried to load his car (with fold downs) and we had the hardest time getting them in due to the size of each bundle...we could only get about half of them in without risking the cars interior. In the end I just drove to the drop point and that was it. Wagons im sure are better, but way too fugly for me

Don't forget those pics are not full, I had another few bundles left...and they fit where the trunklid normally is...thats why the sedan didn't work.

Yeah, now that i think about it i guess the sedan back seat would be the same as the coupe and the coupe trunk without that thing that covers the trunk can hold more stuff higher up too. Making me miss my Coupe, lol. And yes, wagons are not my style either....

Edit: So how much do i owe you now?

Ok, I'm going to have to delete this thread. Your buddy Patrick Baker isn't getting free publicity on our dime.

Yeah, because there are so many Mercedes owners in downtown Lansing that it's going to sway the vote.

Like I said, I'm not even voting for him, just helping out. (I can't vote anyway, still NJ registered).

BlackC230Coupe - I don't know, something carbon fiber will do

Hey! That's why we rejected the coupe. Thought we'd go for the whole vehicle, rather than just the front 2/3!!

I'd take that bet too....I've had 2 full 5400cu in backpacks and 2 mountain bikes (front tires removed and on top of the stack) in the back of my coupe.

I've also had two medium dog crates (and dogs) back there...

Granted, now I've bought a truck to haul stuff....because you just cant fit 4x8 plywood in the coupe....unless....
