You can even try searching with a combination of my username and "blinkers". I'm sure that thread will come up because I posted in there when I first got my car.

It's insanely easy to swap out the sidemirror blinkers:
1) Pull the cover back to expose a small metallic clip along the farthest side of the casing from the car (it's inside the housing). You'll see that it can be pulled "back" relative to its locked position. I use a small flathead myself.
2) Once moved "back", release the cover back to its natural position. Move the mirror (the glass itself) in the assembly in such a way where when you slide off the housing (with a solid tug) it won't get in the way and voila you've got the outer shell off.
3) You'll notice on this shell two precision type philips screws, unscrew them, R&R, and slide that outer cover back where it's supposed to go. Everything should basically line/bolt right up. Pull back the cover to see if that small clip snapped back into place.
4) Carry on with your life .
Good luck with it - there are probably visuals out there which you can come across by searching.

2002 C320 (full AMG styling) - Brilliant Silver / Ash Leather (Orion Grey)
Yep, as mig888 has stated, this is pretty easy. I did mine a few weeks ago and it took no more than 15 minutes.
Bought the parts from my local dealer (about £35 in the UK for the pair). Only difference may be if you have folding mirrors, you just need to fold the mirror in eletrically (rather than pusshing the housing in as described in step 1 by mig888).
I found it useful to use a torch / flashlight to check the location of the metal (gold coloured) clip that hold the outer mirror shell in place. I also used a small flat blade screw driver to push the clip.

good question... i want to know too! i was thinkin bout doin silverstars all the way around [of course when i get it]. partially because CA city cops are assheads. ESP at 2am. pull you over for the stupid things [no front plate, clear turn signals, etc]. then if your not drunk, they like to write fix it tickets.

IMO, it's just not worth the hassle if you're replacing the housings with the 2005's because the LED's are clear and blink orange. What would you replace them with? Clear/White?
