should i have waited to get my car?

Gosh, just reading the post re: the great deals that a few of you got on your 2002 c230 makes me feel like I should of waited to get my car later.

I got my car on 7/17/02, just a little over a month ago. I paid $28,660 for mine (black, auto, pano roof, and c7) and NO DEALS for my my car.

But then I tell myself, hey I have the car just be happy with it. And besides, I got for my birthday(7/26).

I'm sure you could have haggled on a deal to lower the price a tad, however it would have most likely been extremely minute.

Enjoy your car.

you could've wait for the 03 model. it'll have the new head light design (although i don't like it very much), but if what you want was the 2.3 engine than you really don't have any choice. you chould've haggled with the dealer for lower price if you tried because it's the end of 02 model. there is no way that dealers are able to sell them at window sticker.

most people don't like to get end of year cars because they feel they are buying an old car. those who buy cars at the end of the model years because they know they can get a better price since no one else wants'em.

still a good price for the car though.

Buying a car is like buying a new computer. After you've brought it home, you should refrain from price shopping for several months. You'll always find a better deal...

Just enjoy your car!

The '03's have a new headlight design? I don't think I noticed... what is the difference?

The new headlamps are clear, and they're also Bi-Xenon's rather than the normal Xenon's.

You live in an area where people pay more for cars. Drive down to So Cal for better deals.

the regular halogen lamp will be the same as the 02 models, however the bi-xenon will have the new headlight design.

The 'normal' halogen lights are exactly the same for 2003. Xenon might be different, but I haven't seen them yet.

C Clas headlight

Standard halogen headlights will be exactly the same for the '03 cars as they were for the '02s.

They will only differ when the optional bi-xenons are ordered as a standalone option or as part of the C4 package.
