if you're a costco member... you can buy navigation with free installation. i just received my avic d3 indash navigation and with installation it was 1099. looks a lot more classy than flip up screen. just use the american international kit on the DIY avic-z1 thread and you're set.

you'll pay less than the kenwood and get a better looking unit with more functions.

i am not a fan of flip out screens but I just thought a single din would hide the screen better. The idea of the fake face plate on a double din is nice. i will think about it.

I just ordered a Metra 99-8712 and see how it goes in terms of modding out the pocket. and also, so far I still haven't seen 1 pic yet with any 05+ w203 with aftermarket HU installed. Once I pick out which system I want, I will get a few pics going during the installation.

got the radio kit and threw it on for test fitting. it fits perfectly and looking good. I don't think I will mod the pocket out of this kit since the pocket is pretty much part of the radio kit, I will leave it as is. Now I just need to figure out which single din I should go with.... hmm

Thanks for the pics Sanf. That is a little disappointing that it doesn't look really easy to modify to fit a double din and still look good. I may have to have a custom panel made, as I am dead set on getting the Pioneer Avic-Z2.

Ah, the kit is significantly different than the one for prefacelift W203. It looks like the kit could easily be opened up to accommodate a double din. Do NOT get a flip out, those are so ghetto.

Take updates after you get those springs, so you can show people the difference.

Am I seeing midnight blue or is that Capri blue?

Nice choice of wheels going with the OEM 07 W203's

How do you like the tint? I am just about ready to go with the same 30% Huper Optik on my 07.

came off a 2007 c230 sport... they were only driven for 600 miles and have virtually untouched tread on them. i got really lucky. they're only 17's... but because of the design i think the look bigger.

also... i think i remember you asking me about my tint and i was in a bad mood that day and was kinda *****y... but its huper optik (dual layer ceramic) and has sort of a blueish hue to it.

Looks great! I want a set of 2007 sport rims too, but can't seem to find a set for sale locally at a good price.

RE: Eibach Springs - have them and they work great. I used a #4 pad in the rear to get the right look. The shop that installed the kit tried #3 springs, but it gave too much of a "dumped" look for my tastes. #4 is just about right IMO.
