the sounds are different, lol the only way i could think of is getting the same two cars, one with sport, one with race, and one with the other one ( i forget what they call it )

You can tell if yours is race by how F'ing loud it is! Serious. Dude, u didn't wait THAT long for it! I waited almost 2 months for mine. There was a couple beemers exhaust that also took quite as long or longer from Eissanhaus. Post pix and sound clips as a few of these guys were interested in them, but I couldn't do the sound clips.

2001 CLK430
On the CLK430 it's like this:
Sport-hardly ANY difference over stock-minimally deeper/louder. High Performance- Slightly louder and deeper at startup/idle and noticeably louder/deeper accelerating and at speed. Race-You can't miss the difference at startup/idle and WOT. Check the sound clips at Eisenhaus.com for the Race version. On the SL500 and CL500 (compared to my CLK430) the Race is WAY louder than the high performance.

Well, its my birthday today and what a great present I have for my car. I got the Weltmeister¢ç exhaust from Performance Products (www.performanceproducts.com). Great people over there, thank you. Basically its the quad exhaust that they sell for the new C class.

I cant wait to get it installed. It does come with lots of hardware, I think you can put it on yourself but Im gonna take it to my muffler shop. Im sure they can do a much better job than me.

Uhm,,..... I installed my so called "race" exhaust tonight and don't think it's anything other than sport or hi-perf. I did install the optional resonator but I don't think it would make a race version this quiet. The resonator has to go though. When accellerating I can hear the gasses rushing through it and the sound is heard through the floor. It's a little anoying. I didn't receive a necessary clamp to use the straight pipe in place of the resonator.
Does anybody know what the part numbers should look like?
I'll post some photos in a bit.
