W203/CL203 Aftermarket Exhaust Thread - All you want to know
But I'd settle for how the new looks - I'll crawl under for the before if need be.
Thanks much.

Guess for $30, it's worth just getting theirs. Is the diameter between theirs and the stock C7 one the same? Quality the same?
Here is the resonator eisnemnann included in the exhuast box along with a sound pipe.
This connects directly to the center pipe in the car, you unbolt the full rear section and put this piece on, then the rest of the eisnemann ( 1 other piece of piping with the muffler bolts to this "resonator", or in my case the sound pipe. both are the same length, and you can only use one or the other.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
So in conclusion, i guess if you want you can cut the stock exhaust, but eisenmann gives you all you need to just bolt it on no cutitng. Those who wish not to invest in the 30 buk sound pipe and have the C7 package I think can cut and clamp it, but im not sure if the piping is the exact same diameter? And the end of the sound pipe is smaller, as to mate to teh eisnemann larger diameter exhaust pipe.
I was just hopin that everyone is clarified now, I didnt belive it myself that it is actually a cat back, others have said you need welding, but thats not the case apparently
Here are my findings. They are different (i.e. not interchangeable) from the engine to the joint under the rear passenger seat.
The 2003 has a cat right after the manifold with O2 sensors before and after. Then there is what looks like a second cat in the same location as the only cat on the 2002 except this possible secondary cat on the 2003 is smaller and has not O2 sensors before or after. Then there is the joint after which things look interchangable between the 2002 and 2003. As someone else recently noted the 2003 C7 still has a resonator.

also found a K&N filter for 1.8 engine. I don't know if it's new or already there.

The exhaust looks great! Any closer and you'll have to break out the KY.
