They have a sport exhaust with choice of dual round or trapazoid tip for all the lower model w203.

That sounds really good coming from a 230! Very impressed. So you had the resonator and muffler removed? I was pretty sure that removing the muffler was illegal... now it's time for you to Dyno that thing!

thanks i also have a k&n intake and pretty soon geting my pulies chip and custom piping from throttle body to intercooler . also have a boost gauge but dont cnsider it a mod

I posted something about Cali cops cracking down on mods, but the consensus of Cali Benz owners seem to feel this is more targeted towards what people would consider "rice rocket" cars looking to be extras in Fast and The Furious rather than the luxury vehicles. We'll just have to see as the next year approaches.
btw, the exhaust doesn't sound too bad for not having a muffler. In fact sounds a lot deeper than I thought it would!

it was really hard to keep the tip straight b/c the last resantor was to long but from anything more than 5 feet looks exactly the same also the reason its a lil furthur out

Well as i've previously read on this forum, removing the resonator is totally legal, but not the muffler or catalytic converter. I enjoy the whole modding scene but can't really join in cause the car's on a lease...

I put a generic flowmaster exhaust on my car that sounded exactly like that. It was really deep and really loud at low rpms and as the rpms climbed the exhaust sound dissapeared almost completely. It was obnoxiously loud, that'd be ok for when I was in HS but it was really just annoying I ended up getting an eisenmann race to be able to hear convos from the back seat (and eisenmann is considered loud). I'm happy with the eisenmann now because its relatively quiet when I want it to be and it still screams when I get on it. People have told me it sounds like a jet or even a space ship lol anyways enjoy your exhaust that's the loudest SS I've ever seen

For a boost gauge..... I HIGHLY reccomend the Cobalt boost gauge by autometer.....it lights up blue and is a vac boost gauge and will constantly be moving instead of some gauges that will only move a little bit.... Its pricey but looks way sharp....
