It looks ok on the C55...
But my mom's new TL Type-S quads look better, I think due to the amount of space between the two duals.
(doesn't sound as good though

AMG GTS
Just my .02 ... I always found the C55 (and W203 AMG's) looking quite awkward with the quad exhaust...I agree with MBenzNL...the car doesn't look wide enough to sport the quad-exhaust...some nice duals or even a single (like the oval tip style) makes the car have that really clean look...but then again that's my opinion...and no offense to any W203 AMG owners for my comment above.

What kind of work would have to be done for a quad exhaust to function well on a stock W203? Just a new bumper and exhaust? What exhaust manufacturers offer quad?

well, we can do the C55 set up. There was a discussion with the list of parts to do this set-up. I'm going to talk to the muffler shop if they can do something custom.

quad makes no sense for an inline 4 though
very few cars actually have a true dual system most are a 2:1:2

this is my personal favorite:

AC Schnitzer Type IV 2-Piece
They're pretty expensive, but a lot of people have them b/c they're "BMW Approved" and won't "void" your warranty according to many dealerships
