I JUST BOUGHT A 2006 C230 AUTOMATIC AND I AM NOT 100% CONVINCED MY CAR DRIVES NORMAL. WHAT HAPPENS IS THAT WHEN I BEGIN TO ACCELERATE THE CAR DURING THE FIRST FEW SECONDS I FEEL A "JERK MOTION" AS IF I WERE CHANGING THE GEARS MANUALLY. ALSO SOMETIME WHEN I BRAKE I FEEL THE SAME MOTION WHEN IT GETS UNDER 10 MPH. HONESTLY IT FEELS LIKE THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG AND I'M BUMMED OUT BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE THIS CAR. IS THIS NORMAL OR SHOULD I TAKE IT TO THE DEALER?? PLEASE ADVISE..

Hate to say it my friend but take it right back to the dealer for troubleshooting, sounds to mee like a tranny problem.

yeah take it back to the dealer, since ur car is still new!

My 06 C230 jerks a bit in the first gear sometimes too. I think it's the 7speed tranny. Recently, that jerk seems to have disappear. My car is at around 10000km right now.
