C230 Convertible???
Hello everyone--here's my first post. I was browsing the mbnz.org website and came across the following link: http://gallery.mbnz.org/gallery/pics...1055058_PM.jpg
Does anyone know if this is a PhotoShopped picture--or if it's the real thing? My C230 (black/oyster leather, COMAND, C5, K2) is being born next month--but I'm wondering if we're likely to see a convertible next summer. The VW New Beetle convertible was suppsed to be out some time ago, but I've never seen one in the US. Any thoughts?

i actually heard that the cabrio version was canceled from some web site.... wonder if i can still track it down

told by a uk dealer that the cab/conv was toyed with but defo not happening as new slk will fill the roll for 2 seats and clk for 4 ....

The cabrio was a design study done by Karmann for the Geneva Motor Show last year. Nice idea, but cost would put it too close the the price of an SLK.
