I dont think i would be able to get it to look that good though and I would get frustrated...

Grille with no star (mattig grille), i find it clean and look nice. The coupe grille star not saying it's bad, but hte star is slightly too small IMO (CLK grille look amazing). Anyways, next week should be the day i pick up my Black Chrome Mattig Grille, let's see what happen by then, cuz im going to put on my summer gear on my car soon! I hate to see the winter version of my car lol

I am going to purchase the Avic D3 very soon, found a local dealer with pretty good price, but now im wondering if my car runs on Fiber Optic? that will increase installation price dramatically. My car as i know doesn't have BOSE system which to me is another relieve. Any input or comment please let me know. thx

hmmm painting stock grill and leaving the top and bottom chrome strips is an option (so the three strips that attach to the star will be the body paint color).
i did think about painting the new 05 grill... but purchasing the grill and paying to get it painted will cost around 300... maybe a little too steep for this mod in my opinion.

Thats an easy diy, sand, paint primer, color, clear, rubbing compound, polishing compound done. And thats probably overkill.
This place http://www.sanleandrocolor.com/ and probably others will mix paint, from your color code, and put it in a spray can for 20 bucks.
And they ship.

paint it all black but leave the star silver.... then temporarily use black tape to tape the star black and test it out.
