They had one on the "other forums." That's too bad you can't access them anymore. I'm sure someone has done them though, like Gary or someone else.

2003 C230K Coupe Orion Blue
I'm assuming you have a 2003 C-coupe. Looks like you already removed the 2 bolts up top.
Look at the very bottom of the back of the grill at the centre. There's a pushpin. Take a pair of sidecutters and remove it first. Grill will come right out afterwards

wow 80 to get it painted! no way! DIY!!!! I painted my own!
yeap, your on a roll! 2 screws on top, remove the clips, remove the pushpin (pain in the butt to find!) then bam! slide it right out, twist the star. and remove the star!
its easy to paint it yourself, I did mine!
1. Buff out your grill slats with a 150-ish grit sand paper
2. clean your grill from the dust.
3. prime paint your grill (when it dries, buff it out with a 220 or even higher, then another layer, then buff it out again)
4. paint the color of your choice, then let dry for atleast 24hrs, then wipe it clean from dust, then its your choice to either clear coat it or leave it, I decided to leave mine since I was using a engine black.

no one is going to get banned because they are members of other forums.
no need for "other site" like it's some sort of taboo dirty-word or something.

Just do lots of light coats at first, then a little more on the last couple coats.
I put a ton of coats, so I if a rock hits it, hopefully it won't chip, but it has a little, ha not as bad as my hood!
You don't really need primer, just sand then paint.
I put a whole can of clear on it!

yea, its not that bad for all that. It's a really really good shop
most of there work are German cars
last year i had a big dent on my hood and he charged me only $500
to pull out the dent and to repaint my hood. when i picked up my car
a week later i thought that he just bought another hood i was so amazed
just perfect.

hi guys
is it worth forking out $260(R1900) for this 2005 perforated grill on my coupe. Currently got the standard 02 grill. It's obviously purely the updated look, being perforated it might increase air intake? thoughts?

It is not a direct fit, are you aware of that? You need to modify the tabs to make it work. The instructions are on here, so do a search and you shall find the answers.

yeah I got the 05 taillamps, sides and clear fronts and fogs with HID. So next thing for me might be the 05 grill.. any increase in airflow at all? or is this purely cosmetic?
