That is cool. What do you mean by pre-facelift, and what do you need to send back? Isn't the 2002 a pre-face lift as well? Will that work with the 2002 models?

When I say pre-facelift I mean all the models (02-04 for the coupes) which had the standard size radio deck with tape player (or Audio 10 Cd player) and small pocket for sunglasses and the like below it, as seen in the ISO manual. The post-facelift (05+) W203 has several new features, one of which is the larger, double-din unit for the stereo, as seen in the Fakra manual above.

I'm sorry if I sounded confusing, but I haven't ordered anything yet; I don't know where jgsx got his connector, but I'm quite curious! I say he needs to return it because he says he has a 04 W203, which uses the ISO connector, so if he can cancel his order before it ships, it would be to his advantage.

The ISO connector version should work with 02s, since I don't believe they changed the radio connectors between 02 and 04 as my radio wiring diagram matched up for everything else in my 04.

< whew > I was worried for a minute. Turns out that I ordered the one with the ISO connector (the CARPI133). Just google that, and there are a ton of places that sell them online. I got mine from Fleabay

I PMed him about his kit too, and he wouldn't give a straight answer either. I don't know why. Either he doesn't have one, or doesn't want to share

Well, the model number is CARPI131, not CARPI133, for the ISO connector, and a Google search shows nothing at all for either model number. With the full model number CA-R-PI.131, I can't find anything on an english site; the only sites I find are german or spanish sites. I couldn't find Fleabay either. Sorry for being so difficult, but could you provide some links?

Yeah, I got the CA-R-PI.131. I googled that part #, and third hit was
http://www.carmedia.nl/catalog/produ...neer-carpi131/

Searched on fleabay

Hopefully it works

So any of these would work with the AVIC d2? If so where can you buy one from?

I already answered the where to buy one from a couple posts up.
I haven't installed mine yet, so I can't confirm that they actually work yet

If you can't figure out how to place an order on that first link, just order it on the ebay link.

Just to let everyone know, the Pioneer CARPI133 100% worked on my 2004 C32! It says PIONEER in my cluster, and my channel up/down keys and volume keys work perfectly. I love it!

I don't know of anywhere that sells them in the US. I got mine on ebay from someone in Portugal.

Here is the application list

I know the adapter is probably all hooked up, but can you take a pic of the adapter itself?

Thanks.

I wanted to clarify his text, so as to be clear myself, and make sure the information is correct. Six posts back, he stated the CARPI133 works with an '04 C class. The CARPI131 is supposed to work with '04 and below. I wanted to make sure from a pic of the actual product.

As of now, I still think that the 131 model is for '04 and before, and 133 is for '05 and above. If I'm wrong, please correct me. It seems like a small point, but considering the cost and difficulty of getting this (I'm getting a friend of a friend to get it for me from the UK), I wanted it to be perfectly clear for myself and for others.

Wait!

Please refer to the official source first!!! You might be right but "04 >" means 04 and newer (or 04 greater than...).

Right . . .
Like was stated earlier, the 131 is for up to 04 W203s (PREfacelift) and the 133 is for the post facelift W203s (2005+ in the US).
