Not sure if this may help but I've use this one and works perfectly for mine a JVC;
Pacific Micro PAC SWI-JACK JVC/ALP/CLARI/KEN Steering Wheel Radio Control Interface Allows you to control select Alpine, Clarion, JVC, and Kenwood stereos with your factory steering wheel controls, splicing required
http://www.crutchfield.com
Enter your information and it will tell you if your aftermarket stereo system is compatible.

All u have to do is to get the speaker wires from the head unit in the back to where the Bose amp was. Here u need to connect the speaker wires together and that's it for the speakers.
The bose amp will not work with the pioneer or any other aftermarket unit because of the fiber optic connection, but, u can take it out and replace it with a regular small amp so u can power aup the sub in ur trunk.
That's it.
Now to my question: Anyone here using MB Quart speakers? How are they?
I want different speakers and not sure what to go with. I do not want to spend a lot of monney on them either.
I know I read somewhere that someone was using MB Quart and now I can't find that post.
Thanks in advance.

2002 Mercedes C320, added OEM Bi-x, clear side markers, Bilstein + Eibach Pro Kit
Bose
I guess the Bose system... Whatever it is that would cause you a problem wiring an aftermarket HU due to the optical connection to the rear speakers/woofer?
Thanks!
Thanks!

to find out if you have the bose system look on the rear deck speaker and see it there is a BOSe logo on it if not check in the trunk on the right side Panel under the carpet if u see a black AMP then u got bose system and if you have the bose system read Post #24 in the thread. https://mbworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=212894

That is not quite true
. I am running the bose speakers on the AVIC D2 and they work flawlessly. I am looking to upgrade to some other speakers now but I have been running this setup for over a year now. The speakers are powered by the pioneer HU and the bose sub in the trunk is powered by a sony amp that my budy put in.

Okay, I just made a small clip for the ones who don`t believe me
http://www.unika04.de/priv/MVI_0493.AVI
I didn`t use every function, only "next track" And "volume +" -
all other functions like "last track" and "volume -", fast forward/reward (by pressing the next/last track button for more than 1,5 seconds) and when you are in Tuner mode frequency +/- and station-searching by pressing the next/last track button for more than 1,5 seconds work too - you joust have to believe![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Sorry if I missed it in the prior replies but what steering wheel adapter are you using? I am trying to find one for my Kenwood DNX7100 GPS/DVD NAV. Also what installer kit you used?

Ok if the Car:Pi is hard to come by then you can use the Pac-Audio SWI-X WITH SWI-CAN. Also available thru ebay...as a side note I believe the Pioneer unit will show " Pioneer " while the Pac-Audio shows a blank screen...

So i'm new to this but i have done endless hours of research and I know I need the Pioneer CA-R-PI.133 for my 2005 C230 steering wheel control. I have already bought the F90BT, Scosche wiring harness, Scosche antenna adapter, and dash kit.... All im missing is the steering wheel control. How much do I plan on paying for this? I head about 65 Euro..... about 95 USD. Is this correct? And does anyone have a reliable link for this part? All the ones i have seen have given me an error that it doesnt load. One other thing has anyone heard of the PAC Module (used for same purposes as Pioneer CA-R-PI.133 ).... reliable? Thank you and God bless
