. I am running the bose speakers on the AVIC D2 and they work flawlessly. I am looking to upgrade to some other speakers now but I have been running this setup for over a year now. The speakers are powered by the pioneer HU and the bose sub in the trunk is powered by a sony amp that my budy put in. All u have to do is to get the speaker wires from the head unit in the back to where the Bose amp was. Here u need to connect the speaker wires together and that's it for the speakers.
The bose amp will not work with the pioneer or any other aftermarket unit because of the fiber optic connection, but, u can take it out and replace it with a regular small amp so u can power aup the sub in ur trunk.
That's it.
Now to my question: Anyone here using MB Quart speakers? How are they?
I want different speakers and not sure what to go with. I do not want to spend a lot of monney on them either.
I know I read somewhere that someone was using MB Quart and now I can't find that post.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks!

I didn`t use every function, only "next track" And "volume +" -
all other functions like "last track" and "volume -", fast forward/reward (by pressing the next/last track button for more than 1,5 seconds) and when you are in Tuner mode frequency +/- and station-searching by pressing the next/last track button for more than 1,5 seconds work too - you joust have to believe

Sorry if I missed it in the prior replies but what steering wheel adapter are you using? I am trying to find one for my Kenwood DNX7100 GPS/DVD NAV. Also what installer kit you used?
