Scratched the hell out of my wheels.
My girlfriend decided to be nice and wash my car. Unfortunately she used a SOS pad on the front rims and scratched them up pretty good. Luckily she didn't do the back wheels since they were clean. What's frustrating is I keep a special brush in my trunk to clean the wheels with, she didn't know that though and made an innocent mistake.
So what are my options here? Is there some type of product than can cover up the scratches(or at least improve them)? I've been looking on the internet for the cost of new C230 rims but I can't find them. Can anybody give me a rough estimate on how much two new wheels would cost? It's a 2003 C230 Sedan(the 7 spoke 17" wheels).

I think you just saved me about $700. I put on one coat of Scratch-X and there is a 50% improvement. Before you could clearly see the scratches from 10' away, now you have to be up close to see them(at least the ones that are still there). I'm going to apply a couple more coats this week, but even if they don't improve anymore I'm very much satisfied. My girlfriend is also relieved as well.lol Thanks for the suggestion!

why would you even consider bying new ones? you could always just get them refinished at a local rimshop. it shouldnt cost more than $100 a wheel. at least from my experience it wasnt that much since they're only scratches.
