it would most likely be a lot cheaper then, right? i might just try to get some fake amg tips off ebay, but the problem is they only have the dual outlets. so if i get both sides done, it would be a quad tip setup. i really want 2 only

so would these tips work?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...spagenameZWDVW

i'm not sure if these tips will fill the oval cutout, or if they are too small.

whats your guys' opinion?

edit: also found these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...spagenameZWDVW

would these fit the cutout? if i can use this, i'd be pretty happy and it'll be only one more tip to go!

The second one is like what I have, it's the stock tip. However, you need two tips since you don't have any now. So, I suggest to find anybody who has the pair of the tips. If you buy one now from the second ebay, not sure how long you are going to find somebody who will sell the same one.

i know, that's why i said it'd be one more tip to go. what do you think about the 1st link? do you think its worth it? i mean, it is pricey, but its still nice and it has the ///AMG logos

I don't see how the second one will work for your set-up since it's intended for the sport models.

The first one should fit but I don't know if you have to trim the bumper or maybe play around with the hangers.

I'm worry about the size of each tip. It seems that it's smaller than the stock one. May need to see the exact dimension.

Haha, my bad.

But the tips might be meant to be paired on one side only so they might not be as large as yous, SlvrC230SS.

that's exactly what i was worried about. i asked that in my edit, but no one replied really. LOL, ****. i don't know, for less than 20$ [so far] the clk tip looks promising. but then again, will the CLK tip fill the oval?

clk tips are not that big, but it should fill the cutout and then you need to make another cutout on the passenger side.

this is the tip i just picked out from speedway when i had'em.

i probably am. i like how frank's tips look, and they do look as big as the regular SS tips. now i just needa find out exactly how much it would cost for hte setup.

i have my magnaflow, so it should be significantly cheaper? i also wanna get my resonator deleted, is that going to be extra? will they charge me for making a cutout on the right side? i gotta get a cost then i'll just save up
