yeah but then you wouldn't have any traction until 3rd gear and some gay 16yr old would jack your ek9 with some simple house hold tools. it would be stripped and you'd find the shell in south gate somewhere after it was lit on fire.

i'm not kidding either, it happened to my friends turboed ek9. He use to walk g35's, stock evos, and 350z all day long in his ek9 too.

looks like they installed the diffuser pretty well. you should've painted the diffuser, so it looks more oem. Still looks good.

I'm looking forward to seeing it in person.

Tommy,
the C320 is looking good
nice new set of mods you got going...

with both my C320's going to Germany in a few months, I'm sure I'm going to have some major decision points on what goodies to add.
Already the C320 Coupe is scheduled to be "interviewed" by AMG to see what they can do to it. I can't wait.
The C320 Sedan may still get some special treatment, but for now, it's destined to be our Euro cross-border family cruiser.
I need to do a mini photoshoot with the 2 of them together before I leave.

Hope to see ya at the November SoCal Mega Mercedes-Benz Meet... still waiting on the date.

an unfortunate event today..

i got into an accident today. my baby got sideswiped by a jeep and his godamn trailer today. was going on the 60 towards cabazon when a 07' jeep liberty towing 2 jetskis on a trailer thingy swiped the passenger side of my car. he bent my side mirror, messed up my rims, destroyed my sideskirt, messed my fender, and got my doors too. now i gotta go mess with insurance..

holy crap...tommy..that sux man. I would dig up receipts for all the aftermarket items you bought. Also get quotes on the repair from various dealerships...the more expensive the better. Since he admitted guilt..you just have to get a repair quote to the insurance and they should issue you a check.

take the repairs to a independent shop and pocket the rest.

Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll just total your car and you can buy a used c32..:

Also given the high speed you traveling during the colliusion, I would get check out by a doctor. Even through you dont feel any pain now..you can feel pain from the accident a couple weeks from now. You want to make sure you take care of your body now or you'll be paying for when you hit 40.

Good luck..hope everything works out.

Wow and i just talked to you the other day ago.

That sucks for you man. You should take care of your body ASAP and see a doctor. The paint will creep up on you weeks from now like temjinx2 said.

This means new set of wheels and more money for mod items! (just trying to cheer you up)

i was thinking that; the high prices at the dealer might actually work to my advantage. do i have to call in and schedule an appointment to get my car checked out at the dealership? just toget a quote? and is it free, or will i have to pay? this is the first time i got into an accident, LOL, and it wasn't my fault haha, so i don't know the process. after that i should just mail it to my insurance agency or theirs? and also, will they cover aftermarket wheels also? and if i said it was authentic brabus? my sidemarker light got busted, can i ask for a new engine harness and whatnot?

let me know dudes!

well you can explain to them what happened and they can give you a general estimate on how much the cost will be or you can take pics of your car and show them the damage that occurred and they can give you an estimate off that. Just have them give you a itemized estimate. Try to get at least two or three separate quotes. Most insurance will only cover aftermarket parts only if you have the receipts to prove how much you originally paid.

Then again, your oem wheels might actually cost more if the price is quoted from the dealer you might get more.

Most places will give you quotes for free. I never heard any shops still charging to give quotes.
