My PIAA bulbs came today and I just installed them. I got PIAA WEDGE BULB XTREME WHITE 19172 for my city lights and PIAA 9006 ( HB4 ) XTREME WHITE PLUS 19616 for my fog lights. I got my Euro Bi-Xenons from Steve and when I searched the forums many people were saying that the PIAA WEDGE BULB XTREME WHITE 19172 is to blue get the 19169. I think the PIAA WEDGE BULB XTREME WHITE 19172 matches perfect with my Bi-Xenons but the PIAA 9006 ( HB4 ) XTREME WHITE PLUS 19616 does not have any blue at all. Thank god I only changed the passanger side. I will be driving with my fog lights off until I can find a better match. If anyone know what fog light bulb will give me that blue color look let me know.

I know a lot of people on this forum has the Bi-Xenons.

What kind of bulbs are you guys using for the parking lights/city lights?

I'm looking for something blue to match the Bi-Xenon color. Some people are telling me PIAAs, Philips, Sylvannia...etc. I just don't know about putting some cheap "import hyper white" light bulbs in there.

Can anybody recommend a blue/white light bulb for the city lights and the fog lights to match the Bi-Xenons?

I use PIAA Platinum Super White bulbs. Its white-ish color.

If you want a more bluer color. Use PIAA Xtreme White bulbs.

I have always liked Piaa. I dont have Bi Xenons on my Benz but I have them on my 300zx and it uses the same bulb as our benz fogs.. I use the Piaa Extreme White 9006

I don't have Bi-Xeon either, but I use Piaa extreme white's for both high and low beem and they look pretty good

It's probably in the owner's manual, but what # bulb is the "city light"...

No, I don't mean the bulb type. I'm talking best matching color of ray to the Bi-Xenon ray color. The current city light/parking lights are yellowish compared to the Bi-Xenon headlights. I'm looking for matching blue/white lights to go with it.

Walking in the mall and found this Automate store that carries these bulbs. I think they go perfect with the Bixenon city lights and the clear bumper side markers The chrome finish makes it a stealth mode when its off. And it suppose to light up white, havent install them. I will do that tomorrow and post some pics by then. Best thing is they are only $9.99

why not just stick with the clear bulbs in there now? do these illuminate something other than white?

I got them inside Puente Mall (Automate), in fact I saw similar on Ebay which ends up about same price with shipping. I had the clear bulbs on...but when they light up they just didnt go with the Bix, so I replaced them with the ordinary blueish bulbs (the so called super white) and they match perfect with the Bix. Then again when its off, you can see that blue dot thru the clear sidemarkers. These chrome ones blend in pretty good, but as for the color, they emit the same color as the blue bulbs not much difference.

Conclusion: cheap to get, stealth when off, not too bad for 10 bucks

I'm getting my car tomorrow so I haven't seen the bulbs but those bulbs look like the ones I have in my lawn lights ? At least the connector looks like that ...

ok question now, if euro rub strips are illegal due to the fact that the amber light is gone, arent clear side markers with a white bulb just as illegal.

Yep, under Federal Law. Locally the only lights you can't have in the front half of the car are Green, Red or Blue IF THEY BLINK. If they don't blink, then it's OK.

oh well, im not going to go back to amber lenses nor am i not going to stop my PTS install for a cheap amber lense on the rub strip! i figure if your going to break the law, go all out and not with clear side markers and blue bulbs!

I just won an auction for the clear side markers a little while ago so I don't even have car yet and already it's making me break the law !! These MBs are the devil in disguise !

after i ordered my car i bought Audio10, Euro Convex mirrors, SL Parking Brake pad, Illuminated sills and climatronic. all these items arrived over a month before i took delivery. didnt get around to breaking the law with light for 5 months after delivery. though i have Euro Spec taillights as well so i dont have the red light on the sides either.
