Since you have not stated, I am assuming this is a 27 month lease, not a purchase. This would be a really good deal in So. Cal. Currently, most of the Mega-dealers in the "devil's triangle" of So. Cal. (the area between House of Imports, Fletcher Jones Imports and MB of Laguna Niguel) are offering $299/month on a base C230ss with about $4500 down and 10K/month miles.
I go for that deal and be happy for the next 27 months.

I may be dreaming but I am going to attempt to get one with nav and maybe xenons for the same price. I believe they have one in stock. The difference in the price is about 1800. (hey it is december)

$1500 down was the total amount down. Nothing more I think that was just the inception fees like first month etc etc.. I believe I was going to be able to get that down to $1300

Does that number include sales tax? I've also heard that when leasing you should just go into the deal as if you were going to buy it and negotiate the price of the car, then figure out the lease based on the lowest price you negotiated.
Good luck finding the xenons and the COMAND. Thats exactly what I wanted
Oh and the power seats are standard on the C280 this year! (finally)

Final figures
So I was a little premature with my first post of $1500 down $350 a month. Thats the number I thought I was going to be at after talking with my slaes rep.
When it came down to the table they said 1523 down 388 a month. Still not a bad deal, but I wanted to be at $350 max montly.
So when it was all said and done.
$2,000 down $350 a month (all taxes included)
Sticker price was $39,500 give or take a buck or two I believe it was $39,323

I'm with Buellwinkle on this one, you're in it now. Remember though, a good deal is the one you are comfortable with. If it were me, I'd be very happy with that car at those numbers. Enjoy.

I was told that this was one of those extremeky hard to get freinds and family deals. I just wanted to make sure. It is my understanding that these usually lease at $350 with 4000-5000 down. Like I said I just wanted to get a feel what other people where paying.
