it's not that hard, take off the 2 nuts, pull the thing off (mine was stuck on pretty damn hard), place them back on again, watch the alignment, put the 2 nuts back on loosely, adjust and tighten.
done - and i'm a total car idiot i figure i can unscrew something and put it back again.

Onlun9, I didn't pull out the plastic at the end, my blade still hits the wiper arm and I have no way around that. I noticed though that after you put up and put back down your wiper (say after a Car Wash) the blade will get stuck under the arm. What I do is just kinda nudge it so its not under the arm but on the side of the arm (since this is the best it can get).

I guess I'll get another 1 and try to see if its better.

I saw in Motor Trend that Bosch has some new wipers called the ICON but they steer you to www.boschusa.com and provide no further information on them at this point. Maybe they will put some info up soon.
You wont find any part numbers for BOSCH ICON's. all you need to know is your wiper lengths [24/21 i believe] and your good. I did notice the drivers wiper arm petrudes out a lil more then regular blades. but i can totally live with that for as kick *** as the ICON's are
good luck on finding the right sizes and buying as a pair. i had to buy one wiper from dublin store then wait a week and a half to buy from livemore store. lame huh?!

thanks a lot! haha. So when you say watch the alignment do you mean that I just keep the wiper on and after I remove the 2 nuts...I just pretty much move the whole piece upwards and then re-tighten 2 nuts and I'm done? Because I don't see the point in pulling the whole wiper blade off if the step after is to just put them back on. Kind of unclear here still, sorry.

I adjusted my passenger side wiper mechanism...my back kept cramping up so the process took a while hahaha.
EDIT:
Arghh.. ... I noticed I still got some rubbing when the wipers are running. Once again, it's the passenger side...resolved my "home position sitting" problem but I guess in the process I knocked it towards the left even farther (there was barely any clearence before I adjusted my wiper). I actually just went to Kragen's to grab some Silicone Lubricant spray and asked if I can possibly do a exchange for a ICON thats 1" smaller (since this would be less trouble for me and I'm lazy; don't mind losing an inch of surface area coverage) The guy was really cool about it...he said "Even though the bosses don't like this, specially since in your case you tossed the receipt just come in Monday and I'm sure I can do it for you...and if the smaller blade is actually cheaper I can give you some cash back." So I guess I'm running 24" for driver side and now 21" for passenger side...this is for you guys wondering what sizes to buy.

If I bought 21 for the passenger, would that solve the problem?

For passenger side blade (only blade where adjustment is needed) you just pop your hood and you will see two bolts/nuts holding down your whole passenger side wiper blade. Remove these two (be very careful not to drop these...put them somewhere safe) and then with some force (especially on the bolt located towards the driver side) remove the whole wiper. Since now it is all loosened and what not...place it back on slow...aligning it to where you want it... (the whole point of this whole adjustment was because the Bosch ICONS sit lower cause of a different curve and possible different length)...after that...make sure you hold the pressure down on the wiper (when I did this the blade kept popping out of where I positioned it) then hand-screw in the 2 nuts to the tightest you can...then tighten it with a wrench...and make sure it is tight or else you will have problems later...then you are done....and YES, 21" ICONS would solve the problem I'm having now...I'm doing the exchange tommorow since I have 22" now.

Example of passenger side....
The little flip cover should be able to clip back on snugly if you make sure the wiper is inserted fully.... some force necessary.

Thanks for the pics flush!
Does this part rub? When I installed the 22"(didn't make any adjustments), that part was rubbing and left some scratch marks on the end of the wiper. I returned it right away.

about 1/4" between the driver's blade and passenger blade, the passenger blade also does not touch the shaft holding it - it looks like it does but there's a tiny bit of space, about 1/8 of an inch.

That is not the part that rubs...but say you put up your windshield wipers (as you do when you wash your car) and put it back down...you will have to pull the wiper out from under the arm as it does get stuck under there sometimes...the part that rubs with a 22" wiper blade is the edge...the very edge of the windshield glass on the passenger side.

Aero wiper upgrade for a 2003 C320
Just bought the aero wipers and arms on ebay for 35 bucks. How do I retrofit them to my C-class?

A recent US MBZ ad made a point about windshield wipers that work at Autobahn speeds...likely because of the air vents in them.
But at those speeds, Rain X would be even more effective.
Here in the US, it doesn't make a rats_ass of a difference.
