Question about comand APS on new C350 Sports Coupe

Hello my friends.
I 've just get my new C350 sports coupe from Greece with comand aps DVD and order code number "527".

I'd like to know if it's possible to play mp3 audio on DVD?

His '06 C350 SS 6MT, Hers '07 C280 S Auto

In my US model 2006 C350 Sport Sedan the COMAND head unit plays MP3's burnt to a CD. To my knowledge it's not DVD compatible. The CD Changer will also support MP3 CD's.

Don't know about the Euro Spec unit, they sometimes get cool stuff we just drool over here

Do you mean the CD Player in the HU? Because before I put the COMAND in my 06, the HU CD player wouldn't play MP3's but my CD Changer would. It just took forever to scan the whole disk and start playing it.

I'll post pictures of my car as soon as possible my friends

I don't have CD Changer in my car. I' d like to play mp3 from DVD on comand.
I 've read somewhere that it's possible in some comand's. I 'll get my car from dealer in a couple of days. Does anyone know any way to get into hidden menu or something similar?

mp3 changers were introduced in 06. They are compatable with 05 cars but nothing prior to this.

I thought they were NOT compatable with 05 HU, c230 05 gave the dealer a call and said it will not work!??

also, the oem mp3 player takes a million years to load!?? my avic n2 HU takes abt, 5 seconds to load the disc.
