Opinions please?? (new car)
So I am going to trade my 04-c240 in tomorrow on a 07-c230 sport sedan.
I am mostly doing this because there are hardly any mods out there for my 240, and I like the looks of the sport better.
To the point I was hoping you guys could tell me any bads and goods for the new ones or are they still pretty much the same car just a little newer styling??

the new V6 is faster than your C240, but slower than the C280..
it'll also come with extras, like AMG bodykit + exhaust, sport wheels + suspension, updated interior....it'll feel like a whole new car
if you're looking for power, go for a C32..you can get them in the low $20s now..

Yeah I am not looking to much for power and speed because i already have a couple cars for that. I mostly just wanted something that still classy like the 240 but a little sportier look to it and that has stuff available for aftermarket just incase I do want to do a mod here or there, and I have noticed the 240 has dam near no mods because its the 4-matic...

07 C230 Sport Sedan Orion Blue
I would way rather have my 07 C230 Sport than the 07 C280 4matic loaner that I have right now. The C280 has more power and you can feel it but the finishing inside isn't as nice and the car just doesn't feel as good. Also, with the AMG spoiler, sport wheels and sports package in general, it looks way more stylish. Good luck with your decision!

me too - i've driven a C230 Sport and a C280 Luxury 4-matic and like the ride of the Sport MUCH better - it's a big difference

Thanks for all your imput, I think I will look at a couple different ones while im there, cuz they do have an 05 320 sport and 07 350 so after what you all said I will just drive them all and see which one I end up liking the best, I do lean towards the 230 just cuz it does already sit lower and seems to have a little more of an aggressive style but Ill check em out and see what happens.

Well I spent all day saturday test driving a bunch of different cars, and believe it or not the one a came home with wasn't a new mercedes I ended up getting a brand new IS250........

Yeah it will work for know i Like it and this way in a few years, when I can get a few more homes done I will be able to get an SL55 because after driving an 04 they had that car is just badA!! so intell then this Lexus will work...........

I only had this 240 since last august and have had a few different problems since I got it, and before it I had a 2000 CLK320 that I had for 3 years and I only got rid of it to get a 4 door and I loved that car never had any problems with it, sometimes I wish I wouldn't of sold it.

They gave me 20,039.67 for my c240 and I only owed 18,000, so I didn,t lose but when I bought the 240 I paid 21,500 and I used money that I made off my IS300 to put down on the 240, so I kinda lucked out in not losing any money I also got a pretty good deal on this IS250 because it was there demo and thats another reason I ended up getting the IS is because it was a better deal then I could have got a new mercedes for......and this 250 only has 1900 miles on it so still brand new....
