Looking for a Citron Green Coupe

2004 Oxford Green BMW 530i SMG
I seriously considered that color.
I saw a couple with oyster leather, and they looked sweet.
Also the Magma red, with black leather....my girl at the time hated red so I
ended up with Blue! Which I do like a lot.
A couple guys in Canada have those, and seriously modded too, Bix, 2005 grill painted green.
I saw an SLK in that color on the road...just once.

I've had 2 Magma Red and an Imperial Red SLK230(s), so I was hoping for a bit of a different color when it comes to a C230k, although if I haven't come across a Citron Green later in the year, Magma/Mars Red and Cubanite will be my first runner ups.
If I'm not mistaken the green SLKs are designo editions. I've seen more of the SLKs in that color than C230s, but they both seem to be uber rare. A lot of people don't like the color, but I'd rather have something a little bit different than anyone else.
Heliodorgrün is cooler to say.

It's an MB concept, I believe it was called "Bionic" or more commonly the Box-Fish.... had something to do with Australia, but can't remember what
and of course, in Citron !

hmm... i wouldn't mind investing if i had a 320, but the 1.8 L 230 with cloth interior makes me hesitate doing too much to it. i'm already 3-4 G's under

I have a 2002 citron c230 and I love it. I get compliments all the time on how cool the color is and how great the color looks especially in the summer. I agree that the auto is okay but I love my 6 speed. And with only 45,000 miles on it I can keep it for at least 3 or 4 more years.

I definitely want a lower mileage coupe. My '96 BMW 328ic has just under 25k on it; I'd rather have a car that's a few years old with lower miles. I'm in the middle of having a new top put on it this week (the old one is removed and the new tension straps are in place) and then I'm going to start advertising it. I just hope I can find what I'm lookin for.

This is the first one I've seen on Ebay this year. I MIGHT could live with the automatic transmission, but there's no way I'd go without a sunroof.

I'm sad to say that I've abandoned my efforts (for now). There are virtually NO 6spd C230s in Citron Green w/low miles and I HAVE been looking. I gave in and purchased my 4th E36 BMW: This time a '97 Boston Green 328i sedan with premium package, 5spd, and just under 41k on the odometer.
Buying a cheaper one and having it painted is a legitimate option, but not a route I'm willing to go. In order to do be done up to my specs, the car would have to be completely disassembled to allow a FULL body color change (under the carpet, engine bay, trunk area, etc) and that's insane even for my demanding personality.
Should one come up for sale by private owner where I had time to resale my 328i, I'd consider it, but for now, I'm going to just keep dreaming.

Lets have a moment of silence...
This is the second one that I've seen totaled. It doesn't have a sunroof, its automatic, and has twice as many miles as I'd like to have, but it still nearly brings a tear to my eye.
