I put in the pair of K&N filters in my 3.5L. It's an easy 10 minutes. Feels pretty good. But I was amazed at how much junk comes out of the air box even after only a few thousand miles. Bugs, butts, and lots of sand. Those twin snorkels really vacuum up the debris. Keep 'em clean!

Yeah, that's my guess. They bounce up and get "hoovered".

The new filters feel pretty good. Definitely doesn't hurt but it's no set of Kleeman headers either (which I am now Jonesing for). I went tooling around tonight and they do work, they do feel better. But I also don't hear a lot more engine noise like I do on other cars i ran these filters. The MB air box works as a nice silencer. It's all good.

I had been checking the K&N website. It seems like they just listed the PN for the C-Class 3.5L. PN is 33-2859. Maybe it's just an update to the 2256. I also posted the K&N link here.
