Part # for '05 C230WZ First Aid Kit
Hi everyone,
Wondering if any of you who have an 05 C230WZ could tell me what the part # is for the First Aid Kit that came with the car. I bought mine back in Oct 06, from an M-B Dealership in CA and had it shipped to me in RI. And, of course, it didn't come with it.
Thanks so much !!

OCD in Action
Yeah I know. I work at the HQ for the largest Pharmacy in the USA, could probably get a standard kit for cheap. But wanting an OEM First Aid kit is just my major Mercedes OCD kicking in. Plus eBay has quite a few of them cheap ($2.00 + $5.00 s+h), so, at that price, it's not too bad a deal I suppose.

Wow...forgot about this thread I started back early last year. I was (still am, because I back-burnered it) looking for the full kit that goes in the trunk. Because mine's an 05, they did away with the open up fake speaker grill/aka first aid kit inside. I think it's still a fake speaker grille, but it doesn't open up.
Thanks Jake !!

Hi Cintoman,
Glad to help – I searched looking for any information on this restoration project…
First aid kit:
You will need 203 840 00 74 which is the tray for this kit. You will need the cover - part no. 203 690 02 27-9B51 (This is for MY color code – Interior 111 Black/Anthracite) - and the first aid kit itself 169 860 01 50. All this rests on the foam under the rear hat shelf as there is no actual bottom in the tray.
Steve and Wanda have been very helpful with getting me information and parts on my European restoration project.
Good luck!,
Jake

Hi All,
Here are the images from my car (Not the drawing) that show the Harmon Kardon system uses the area under the rear speakers for...well...speakers...
I was hoping to install the First Aid Kit...Not now...I left the First Aid Cover in - I like the look - and there is one in the trunk...
This PN for the cover is also a TAD LIGHT and more grey/black (?pre-facelift?) than the nice saturated black that my MY2005 is...
To those that have a FACTORY or MBenzNL fitted First Aid Kit in the rear hat tray - how does it work? I can not imagine Mercedes-Benz wants the average consumer to wrestle the cover back on after opening up the lid? I do not see any load able lid to frame, there is no tru hinge...I had to load it "into" the hat tray and then set it down...There was a factroy "tongue" of material (see picture from outside car) that could be trimmed to hold the lock on the first aid kit release...
Man I wanted this in there....
Thanks all for helping!
