Welcome to the forum

Is there no picture in the owner's manual that shows you the hood release?

Yeah, I couldn't figure out how to get the gas door open either. I got the trunk, the hood, open, unlocked all the doors, put down all the windows...all to no avail.

Then my friend suggested just pushing on it!

In the ML, there is a finger hole and you tug, so I assumed it would be some kind of pulling motion. When I saw it was flush, I was thinking, maybe it's something fancy!

Oh we found out real quick how to put gas in it. My wife will not get out of it. I think she is going to sleep in it tonight.

So If I got this right, under the brake release is a finger hole that i pull on.

I'm going to check now.

Thnaks guys,

Kelly

Its the large red handle. Its quite obvious just look under your steering wheel area and to the left. At first I thought this was a fuse box or something until I had to search this forum to find out it was the hood release.

By the way, once you pop that one, you will have another handle to pull that will be sticking out your front grill before it releases the hood.
