So what exaclty is the price of new OEM Xenons, for the Coupe, for all of us 2002 guys out there. I prefer to go with factory original. MBenzNL do you have these available to you yet?

What I meant is that for my car and a few of the other C classes when we put the HIDs in it would not work. They would just flash over and over and would NOT stay lit. Also, dealers refused to change the settings because it was not the OEM with self leveling Xenons. Then, when I did change the settings it still would not stay lit. It would stay on for about 1 min then turn off, then turn on repeating the cycle. SO then, I talked to my stereo shop and had them hard wire it to my light switch. It works fine BUT I do get a error message. This has happened to numerious C Class owners so I am forewarning you.
There is also the possiblity that it will go smooth and you can just switch the settings and everything will work.

Also, I can also get HIDs. If you want, I can see what is the best price I can get with the amount of people signing up. It is also a Hella Kit and a bunch of members from this forum have it and are happy with it. They are 4800K and 7500K. Price should be less than $400 shipped to your door. Just let me know.

I would think most people could probably install them themselves. The ahrdest part will be getting the dealer to reprogram the car. But it shouldnt be too hard.

Honestly since it is kinda pricey I was hesitant to install it on my own car. I took it to a shop. But I did install it later on a lot of Hondas, Acuras, and Toyotas so I know its fairly easy. My friends cars were the guinea pigs. LOL.

ALSO, for the rest of you. I wouldnt recommend installing it yourself. Go to some audio/ stereo shop. Lots of things can go wrong. Ive seen one car that all the electronics went dead.
