Burning Smell

Well i got out of my car a few days ago after driving for like 20 min and i smelled something burning first i thought it was from something else but i got back n my car and was at traffic light and had windows open and smelled it again. I got home and went sniffing and found it was coming from the tire area, but couldn't find anything. Smelled like burning rubber but not exactly, friend said it may be breaks.....and ideas?

yup, I believe it's brake. Try it in the morning and see if the smell still happen.

Check to be sure you don't have seized brakes because that can cause major headaches and problems if not corrected.

what do u mean by seized brakes? lately ive been gettin a weird burning smell too when i get out of the car...can't really locate the small but it seems to be coming from rear area...always thought it might be the exhaust?

yea today I was testing my mom's c230 coupe..I floored it up and down the street and I started to smell the burning smell..seems to come from the back too..I thought I worked the engine too hard and got scared..
