CL203 Coupe Pano-roof Maintenance - MB lube Grease Part #s, gears, & fixes

Anyone have a blow up of the parts with part numbers and how they fit together? Im just missing one plastic piece that serves as the locking mechanism for the deflector (common problem with the pano-roof). Ill post a DIY once I get that fixed (hopefully!)

#1 - He said don't forced it close - the worst thing you can do for the gears, cables and track because it is probably something stuck in the track causing your problem. which sounds about right because I used to park under a tree while having lunch with the sunroof open.
#2 - Put me in contact with an OEM remanufactured distributor to buy a sunroof assembly. Yes you want to know how much? $200
#3 - He is supposed to get started next week - said he will do the job for $300. So I will keep everyone posted

I need to open it to take pictures to get parts of what i need to fix mine.
EDIT: if i remember right its a Webasto sunroof. Maybe finding a webasto sunroof specialist or dealer may be cheaper..

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
So my only other thing I can see is a class action law suit against MB for the loss in value of our cars due to the defective parts.

If peeps in SoCal wanted a day to get together and start tearing into someones car I'm game. But whose car will be the guinea pig?

Good luck guys and godspeed.
p.s. let me know if you get it fixed

I have a warehouse in Gardena/Compton area that can house two cars so we would be working in the shade. While I have most tools that I think we would need, I have no interior type tools.
Lets get a discussion going on this and perhaps we can finally put up a DIY, and get those roofs working again.
Date TBD by attendees availability.

Why not switch the gears from the shade motor and glass motor (after removing/cleaning any residue)? The glass motor is the one that fails due to more weight/friction. Would make since that with less weight/friction on gear from shade motor, a slightly compromised gear (from glass motor) would still work on shade side. The glass motor has a new (hopefully undamaged) gear. No new parts purchased. A simple swap. What do you think?
There is a chance they rotate in different directions I guess and they are not interchangeable perhaps. Thoughts?
