Something like these, i have an extra pair of DEPOs laying around, i wonder if these would be a direct fit? http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...products_id=92

yup those will work but there bi-xenon , you can wire them up to your high beams or not...a smaller projector would fit as well....you'd just have to get a shroud to fit around the projector and it'll look factory....if a tough project at first but there's alot of fine tuning to get that right cut off, color and angle

Disrgard that last link, i think i found your old tsx projectors and these are low beams so im guessing these are ideal for the retrofit http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...products_id=61

Cool, im going to order these puppies soon. Question, is there a DIY on this or how do i remove the lens? I want to use the lens off a halogen headlight because the depo lens are cooked. Do you think it would be an even swap?

Hmmmm if there the same shape it might, worth a shot....I've used the oven but you risk cracking on the lens, most use a heat gun and just heat up around the headlight and then pry open with flat head screwdriver...

Thats probably why my lens are baked, the guy who painted the housing of my headlights baked them in the oven.. Ill try the heat gun, hopefully this project isnt too complex!

Ya use a heat gun and the retrofit source sells this glue strip that you place around the headlight and just heat it up and it melts away, my buddy did this on his w208 and worked no issues and water leakage.

I'm in a unique situation: installed DEPO headlights with 6000k HIDs. Right side was flickering so I took it into my stealership and hooked it up to SDS and set xenon=present (or so my SA says. He really only mentioned that my "headlights were coded to the right version, whatever that means.) Still flickering so I got some shop to install cancellers. Flickers a bit on start up but it goes solid after a second or two, but from time to time, right headlight won't turn on unless I switch them off then back on.
Should I take it back to MB and take xenon=present off since I installed cancellers?

You set Constant/Manual in the in the programmable control system in the instruments. It's a setting like the clock, deg. C/deg. F, Miles/Km, etc.

Sounds like you need to download an owner's manual (I think there's a sticky with links to them).
Constant means that the headlights are on when the engine is running. Manual means that they are controlled by the dash switch (which includes the 'auto' setting that turns them on in lower light conditions.

Yeah... I was able to affect some adjustment by pushing hard on the light from through the access for the bulb while turning the adjustment screw in the proper direction. I don't remember if I used some tool like a screwdriver or just my fingers. Try to analyze how the screw moves the light - I don't remember exactly how it works anymore. This obviously has to be done with the lamp outside the car. I turned the adjusting screw because I didn't want to strip it and I hoped it would "get back on track" again. I don't think it did.
It did make a difference but not as much as I wanted. I may try it again someday, but I'll need a lot of motivation!
Good luck and let us know how it went!
