Silverstar Turn Signal

Hi guys its me agian, with another easy question for some.....

Im trying to look for a replacement set of turn signal lights for my w203 2001c320 and i did some searching and found that the silverstar's are the way to go.

Is this what most of you guys are using?

What is the size? 7507ast? please reply thanks.

i prefer the stealth bulbs that can be found on ebay for about 12 dollars shipped. the silverstars have a bluish tint to them, while the ebay bulbs are pure silver and next to invisible in the light housing. i have them in both my front and rear turn signals. be weary of the positioning of the pins though, as some are offset and others parallel.

the fronts are 2357, rears are 7507 (from sylvania site)

be careful not to get the 7507 for the front as the pins will not line up, even though they are listed as one of the bulbs on the bulb replacement guide.

here is an example of what im talking about, i usually buy from this guy...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/7507-...spagenameZWDVW

hope that helps

the steath bulbs blink the same amber color as the oem blinkers. they are in fact amber bulbs with a translucent silver coating on them so that the amber shines through only when lit.

Ok well i was asking because for example the side mirror blinkers for the c class say 2001 vs 2007 are amber but two different ambers ..... 2001 is just amber and 2007 are more reddish orange color compared to the 2001, make sense? lol thats kinda what i mean ... i know that they are silver bulbs that light up amber... i should have been more detailed, but thanks.

Stealth Bulbs

There is one major drawback to the chrome stealth bulbs. They do not blink very bright. I bought a pair, and returned them because they are very dim when they blink, even at night.

The stealth bulbs do look the cleanest though. I went back to the Sylvania Silverstars, and they do have a blue/yellow/orange reflection.

Actually, I have seen 3 different bulb types for the front turn signals. I have seen the front turn signals use 2357, 7507 and 1156.

The best thing is to check which bulb your front turn signals currently have. The bulb should be stamped somewhere with the bulb type number.

+1 for Stealth Auto bulbs. Yeah they're pricey but they are a forum sponsor and they have a lifetime warranty

Thanks mj, greg and everyone else who put their 2 cents in ....

So to anyone who has the silverstars and likes the bluish orange reflection can someone with the silverstars on a sedan c class with oem bi xenons confirm that 7507 is the right bulb size for these? still a bit confused on how the bulb sizes can be different? maybe because the reg. lights/ euro spec? Thanks

My OEM Bi-Xenon's (US Spec) came with 1156 turn signal bulbs. Again, pull your bulb out and there should be a bulb type number stamped on the metal base of the bulb. That is the best way for you to check what bulb will fit your car.

My OEM halogen headlights used 7507. Depo's and some OEM Bi-Xenon's use 2357. My Bi-Xenon's came with 1156. Again, just check your headlights, it takes 5 seconds.
