My Personal Final Version 1.0
I'll see about Deep Imaging a plaque - but I'm happy with it. I cleaned up the edges and placed a grip surround to seal and please the eye. Not much else to do to this scoop =). And no, that's not a scratch, it's some stupid reflection.

Awesome job Jose! Now if we can only convince you to produce some more for us M271 owners. I bet you there would be atleast a dozen of us that would want one. This was one of topic has been discussed from day one.
So any feed back on performance? IE..Sound, throttle response, higher shift point?
So when are you going to start a list of who wants one.

Initial reported findings by myself and others:
-The scoop obviously works best when you're already up to speed, 40-50+ and things really turn up...doing 80+ on a freeway (yes, freeway :p) you can feel that the car isn't so bogged down trying to get air. It's a straight ram, straight through design (no lag if the car wants air... and the way I drive it, the car wants air).
-Volume and supercharger whine go up and like Frank said, its a more even sound between intake and exhaust.
-Can't comment on the shift points, my SI tune accommodated for that, I'm at least 200rpm higher 1st through X, but throttle response is better the faster you're going.
Findings + my "other mod" (yet unreleased):
-The cold air effect is very much complete.
-Sound alone indicates a strong vacuum effect, if you were next to my car and I revved, you'd hear a "tch-whooop" (this might possibly be the stupidest explanation of what the combination sounds like) even when the hood is closed and slightly inside the cabin.
-I've only had my combo-mod for ~3 days, but I'm speed-fabbing to be finished when Blake arrives this Friday - yes, he gets first peek - before it becomes "prettied up" the next week.
-Of course, I'll do speed runs to test everything out structurally, like I always do...but I must say, my drive to work was fun (yeah, all 3 miles).
*I REALLY don't expect a waiting list on these parts - they're very one-off and will be laboriously expensive, but fact of the matter is, doing the combo of both will require an ECU-tune (not funny at all), and I've only ventured this far because I have a Kleemann FPR and a custom fuel-tune. Other kleemannized people I'd say would be alright doing both mods.

You're so freakin' cheezy!...LOL...Signature, dawg? Nah, just playin'. It looks good. Can't wait to see the other. But I bet you those things aren't gonna be on very long considering what we've talked about before...LOL. No doubt these are only "temporary" fixes.

LOL - I'm gonna DI the plates this afternoon - I'm thinking aluminized black with a silver signature and text. The plate is removable and upgradeable . Hell yes to signing the plate - had so much fun making it 'mine' . In fact, ya'll don't have any idea about how much fun I'm having fabricating all this stuff!

Of course, I'm surprised he even attempted this project, I would've thought he'd ditch the stock airbox when the turbo goes in.
