I only find it useful on wider cars like the S-class or ML-class in this case.

I tried the folding mirrors (different set - same switch) on class c's C240 with manual seats to see whether it would be as easy as with the memory seat equiped cars (in europe the control units in the doors need to be replaced when the car came with manual seats and folding mirrors are to be aded)...and it worked...

You can order you sets from Steve. I just ordered mine. Tell Steve if you have headlight washers and xenon's installed also with interior trim color. The set is 600 bucks plus shipping from steve.

I'd be interested in seeing the installation pics when you're done to see how difficult or easy it is.

Did you ever get the parktronic working?

upgrade to folding mirrors help

Has anyone upgraded to the folding mirrors? I just got them in and need help installing them. I have everything taken apart already. Can't find the connector that goes into the new mirror assembly. THe originals had no connector. THe wire goes straight into the door and connects to the Control Unit.

I Have The Power folding Mirrors on the Wifes W203 Coupe
When Steve was here He Did The Mod..Fast and Easy!!!
It was Plug and Play....NO wires were added
Replaced the Mirrors and installed the New Headlite switch with the Folding mirror option 20 min Max!

Steve tried the Folding Mirrors on a W203 Sedan it was plug and play also!

I wrote to steve already and he told me that some w203 cars have a connector behind the mirror assembly. Others have no extra connector and the wire runs from inside the door panel through the door and and into the mirror. Unfortuanatly, that is what I have. I will need the new wires from the door control module to outside the door. Then I will connect these connectors to the new mirrors steve sent me. I have bad luck when it comes to upgrades. Steve did a parktronic install a while back and it works great. On mine, it doesn't!

no we don't need serious driving skills! I did it just to have the extra feature since I like to have a fully loaded car. Better to spend money on something functional than just for "show" And for the folding mirrors, I ordered them from Steve. He got me the folding mirror motors which include the inner frame of the mirror and the folding mirror motor. THe outer casing of the mirror with the leds, original mirror motor for adjustment, original mirror is from my old mirrors. You will also need the headlight switch assy which includes the mirror folding buttons

Power Folding Mirrors INSTALLED!

I got my mirrors from Steve. Just got them back this morning from the paint booth and installed them. I got E class Folding mirrors/memory and also with the Euro Mirror which eliminates the blind spot. The outer part of the mirrors is bend slightly outwards. This eliminates the blind spot. Very nice mirrors. These mirrors also have the puddle light on the bottom but these are not hooked up as of now. I will do that later. I will post pictures later on.
