So i went to the post office to pick up my box. Then i opened it and what do i see? 4600k piaa bulbs? im like WTF? So yeah i want to choke somebody right now. Got them off ebay, wrote a email so lets see what he says.

Yeah for 200.00 i thought i was getting a super deal but i got super jipped ....yeah mj i might be able to get these for a little over 300 new but after this bs i might just go with philips ultinons.

i don't have auto leveling feature, but i won't affect it since u r just changing the bulbs...

well its funny because i do have auto-leveling but when i switched the lights it doesnt do it anymore, can someone help?

also one thing i noticed is on the beam .... say against a wall i see a slight brownish strip over the light output ... if this makes any sense? do you know what im talking about ?

Yes, that slight brownish strip over the light output is common on OEM Bi-Xenon's. Mine isn't brown, but yellow. The dealer told me that this is common on most C-Class Bi-Xenon's. I have been told the Euro spec Bi-Xenon's have less discoloration than US Spec.

xenon ... do you have the auto-level in your lights? after i switched them out they dont do the auto level anymore? its weird when i turn on my lights to parking lights only against a wall i can sort of see the auto level work without the lowbeams on? hope this makes sense.

Your headlights will not auto-level (and have never auto-leveled at any time while on your car). My headlights do not auto-level. Just make sure to aim them against a wall and adjust them correctly.

Only cars that came with factory installed Bi-Xenon's will auto-level.

Auto-leveling is not necessary. It is a huge MYTH that cars that come with factory xenon's must have auto-leveling. There is NO LAW that says auto-leveling is necessary. Auto-leveling is just a "luxury" feature. There are many cars with factory xenon's that do not have auto-leveling. For example, older and newer Acura TL's do not have auto leveling with their factory installed xenon lights.

oh ... well maybe i dont know what im talking about? is auto leveling when you turn on your headlights and the beam goes down a bit and then up to its normal position?

(Thats what im reffering too.)

Before i changed out my bulbs they did just that. Now they dont.
