C32 rear sway bar in my C230 coupe
I think it is good to maintain your front 20mm bar and change to the C32's rear bar 16mm, 20/16 is way better than the stock setup 20/13.
I heard kleemann is selling their sway bar from eibach for $475US
If we purchase from tirerack, it is $373US. The eibach setup 24/22 is better than the 20/16, but it cost $300 more.....
the C32 rear sway bar is a good investment, it cost me only $60US brand new, it makes the car understeer less and more balance

*question about the Coupe susp setup. Why is the shock and spring seperate unlike other cars? Any reason for it? Also, if I do like a 1.3" drop (Eibach Sportline?) can I just do the front (I'm just concern of the gap) or should I do both front and back? Thanks again guys.

the stock sway bar setup is too far to the side of understeering, if you can afford a set of racing suspension which can use a very heavy spring rate at the rear, then you don't have to use a thick sway bar at the rear. If you want to change just only the front spring to Eibach...etc, it will makes your car to understeer more because you add more spring rate to the front, so this is not a good option to go with. Btw, I don't think any aftermarket tuner would sell you only the front spring.
many euopean cars use muti-link suspension at the rear have seperate spring and shock, for example the BMW 3 series

Do you guys want part numbers?
I don't have the part# for the bushing, just ask and order them from boardway mercedes, they are very friendly.
Btw, don't go to the Richmond Mercedes service and parts departments
kw230, is there any reason you did not change both front and rear bars? Did the front bar from a C 32 will fit the C 230 Coupe?
Thanks
Now, for the part numbers:
FRONT ASSEMBLY:
203-323-31-65 - Bar-front - $70.30

203-323-11-40 - Bracket - $11.50
203-323-12-40 - Bracket - $11.50

The screws are not absolutely necessary if you are very careful with the screws as you remove them from the front bushing assemblies. I used them because a couple of mine got bunged-up.
